On September 10th, 2006, the Palo Alto Camera Club had its annual fundraising event. Most of the members attended the great party-luncheon. In the afternoon, Laurie, former club president and current webmaster, ran the auction helped by Dany.
There was one item that caught my attention: a Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8. That lens was donated by a member. Although not a recent model, I needed a good zoom one. Well, I won the auction and I’m eager to try it! I mount it on my D50 and start shooting. Since I was still sitting, I shot Laurie who was auctioning additional items.
